A number for your shuffle

A few details help explain this feature. Select one suit, two suits or four suits before loading the deal. Enter a whole deal number between 1 and 4294967295. The number and suit setting together identify the starting shuffle. Numbered Deals lets you choose a reproducible Spider starting layout on c2props.com.

Load a chosen number

An active unfinished game asks for confirmation before loading another selection. The Deal number field accepts positive whole numbers within the displayed range. Load deal applies the number and suit setting in the controls. Loading a different number can replace progress saved for the same mode and suit setting.

Reproduce the layout

Here are the details for this mode. A deal number identifies a starting layout rather than a saved position halfway through play. Move choices after the opening are entirely up to the player. The same deal number and suit setting produce the same opening cards with this game's shuffle algorithm. Changing the suit setting changes the deck used to create the deal.

Share a starting point

The following details apply here. A shared numbered link opens the corresponding starting deal or matching local progress. Sharing a link does not transfer another player's move history or statistics. Copy deal link includes the selected number and suit setting in the page's link fragment. When automatic copying is unavailable, the game displays a selectable link field.

The numbered objective

A few details help explain this feature. A full descending sequence containing different suits stays on the tableau. A qualifying face-up run is removed automatically. Numbered Spider uses 104 cards arranged in ten columns with a stock pile. Win by completing eight same-suit King-to-Ace sequences.

Build by rank

Keep these points in mind. A descending same-suit group can move together as one unit. Any legal movable group may enter an empty column. An exposed card can move onto a card exactly one rank higher. The destination card may belong to another suit in standard Spider.

Prepare another row

Fill every empty column before using the stock. Undo can restore the position before a stock deal while the snapshot is available. Five stock deals are available at the beginning of a numbered game. Each stock deal adds one card to each of the ten columns.

Replay and new numbers

Keep these points in mind. Comparing different openings on one number can help you study your own decisions. The current number remains visible beside the game controls. Replay resets the current number to its original shuffle. New game chooses another deal number for the current suit setting.

A reproducible deal is not a proof

A few details help explain this feature. Winning Deals provides a separate collection with verified legal solutions. The Hint button reports legal options rather than solving the whole game. Numbered shuffles are not advertised as guaranteed winnable. Some choices can make a position harder even when another line might succeed.

Save your numbered game

Keep these points in mind. With saving enabled, Numbered Deals keeps a current game for each suit setting in this browser. My Statistics lists numbered starts and wins separately from ordinary Spider games. A matching saved game resumes when you revisit its number.
